Teeth-in-an-Hour Dental Implants in Rockford, Dixon, Janesville, and Madison
Traditional dental implant treatment may require multiple appointments and several months of healing. Teeth-in-an-Hour uses advanced imaging, digital planning, and guided implant placement to streamline the surgical process. In qualifying cases, dental implants and a temporary restoration can be placed during a single appointment, allowing patients to leave with a functional, natural-looking smile.
Teeth-in-an-Hour may be especially beneficial for patients who are missing multiple teeth or are dissatisfied with traditional dentures. However, patients must have enough healthy jawbone to securely support the implants. Diagnostic imaging and a thorough examination will be performed to determine whether this treatment is an option.
Patients who don’t have sufficient bone may require bone grafting or a sinus lift before implant placement. The grafted area must then heal before treatment can continue. Although the surgical appointment may be completed quickly, the implants still require time to integrate with the jawbone before the final restoration is placed.
With over 60,000 dental surgeries performed and over 20,000 dental implants placed, you can be confident that you will receive high-quality care from established professionals that is designed to meet your unique needs. What to Expect During the Teeth-in-an-Hour Process
Prior to performing Teeth-in-an-Hour, we will conduct an in-depth dental and medical health history review to determine the underlying reason why Teeth-in-an-Hour is necessary. This process will include an examination of your bite and for any indications of loose teeth, bone loss, TMJ, oral cancer, or signs of periodontal disease.
Once the underlying cause has been identified and it is determined that you are a viable candidate for Teeth-in-an-Hour, it will be necessary to take diagnostic exams (CT scan and X-Rays) to determine the precise placement of the implant. Once the optimal locations are marked, the procedure will begin with administration of a local anesthetic and/or sedation. Next, the implants are surgically installed, and the prosthesis is fitted.
Although the implant and temporary restoration can be completed in just one hour, it is important to be aware that the overall process will take longer, as it is essential to gather as much information and develop a surgical plan to ensure the longevity and health of your implants.

Aftercare Following Teeth-in-an-Hour Implants
One of the benefits of Teeth-in-an-Hour is that sutures may not be necessary, which results in a less intensive recovery period. Even so, it is important to follow these and any additional post-operative instructions provided by your periodontist to minimize risks and enjoy a fast recovery.
- To reduce pain or discomfort, take the recommended dosage of prescribed painkillers and/or over-the-counter medication.
- Avoid vigorous mouth rinsing and do not touch the wound.
- Bleeding can be controlled using gauze.
- To reduce swelling, apply an ice bag over the area for ten to fifteen minutes at a time.
- Do not spit, rinse, or use a straw for the first 24 hours.
- Avoid intense physical activity and rest as much as possible for the first week.
- Avoid brushing your teeth for the first 24 hours, after which you can resume gentle brushing, but do not floss the dental implant. Moving forward, you should consider alternative flossing options for your dental implants, such as interdental brushes or oral irrigation.
- Eat soft foods such as applesauce, yogurt, pudding, or soup for the first ten days and slowly reintroduce harder foods as the healing process progresses.
By following these instructions and continuing to keep your teeth and gums clean, you will enjoy a fast healing process and can return to your normal routine as quickly as possible.
