Dr. Andreasen grew up in Louisville, Kentucky and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Clemson University in 2010. After college, she moved to San Francisco, California and worked for a general dentist and this is what originally sparked her interest in dentistry. Dr. Andreasen decided to return to Louisville to attend the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2016 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During dental school, Dr. Andreasen was inducted into the Nu Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. She then continued on at the University of Louisville to complete a residency in Graduate Periodontics and earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry in 2019. Dr. Andreasen completed clinical research in the area of implant site development and implant placement and will pursue her status of becoming a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Andreasen is certified in conscious sedation and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and currently uses sedation and pain control techniques during her practice.
Dr. Andreasen lives in Rockford, Illinois with her fiancé, Bryan, and their two dogs, Henry and Maya. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and many outdoor hobbies, including running, hiking, and skiing.
