introduction

We are happy that you are taking the first step toward better periodontal health. At Featherstone Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, your smile is our priority. We encourage you to use this website as a resource to better understand your treatment options and find answers to common questions about periodontal care.

Drs. Lindman, Burch, Hull, Andreasen, and Pishevar are specialists in periodontics and implantology. Our practice provides both conservative and surgical treatment for gum disease, cosmetic periodontal procedures designed to enhance the appearance of your smile, and dental implants to replace one or more missing teeth.

Drs. Lindman, Burch, Hull, Andreasen & Pishevar believe that your right to choose a dentist is an important freedom. We work closely with your dentist, but a referral by a dentist is not required to visit our office. We also welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.

We are extraordinarily proud of our staff, which is comprised of caring and dedicated professionals. They ensure that the patient’s surgical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. We are here to listen to your questions and concerns and to help provide solutions leading to your better health.

Your First Visit

Please assist us at the time of your initial visit to the office by providing the following information:

  • A referral by a dentist is not required, but if you do have one, please bring the referral slip and X-rays with you when you visit our office.
  • A list of medications you are currently taking (you can fill out your  Patient Forms using this link).
  • If you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment.
  • Payment is due on the date of service. Should you have insurance, please bring your current insurance information to your appointment. As a courtesy, we would be happy to file an insurance claim on your behalf, with payment being paid directly to you.

Please Note: All patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment.

Please notify the office if you have a medical condition or concern prior to surgery (e.g., artificial heart valves or joints, heart murmurs requiring pre-medication, severe diabetes, or hypertension).

We will complete an in-depth medical and dental health history and a thorough examination to measure for bone loss, loose teeth, bite, oral cancer screening, TMJ, and other signs of periodontal disease.

Scheduling information

We offer convenient weekday hours, with Saturday appointments available by request. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for your initial visit. If you are experiencing pain or a dental emergency, we will make every effort to see you that same day.

We strive to stay on schedule and minimize wait times for every patient. Occasionally, emergency appointments may cause unexpected delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding when these situations arise.
